Great exhaust! Fits like a glove and gives a fantastic boxer rumble. And the stock exhaust drone is all but gone. Very nice. When you mash your right foot, you will hear a low grumble that gets louder and louder as the revs go up. But when you are coasting or cruising at highway speeds, the noise fades into the background. The drone is gone! Now, this isn't a "Boy Racer" exhaust. Gives a great low tone, but is not shouty. (The STi sedan, big wing and all, is shouty enough, IMHO.) The only faults I had were the lack of install instructions and the provided bolts need to be about a 1/4 inch longer to make the install easier. Took me about an hour to install. But I tried to assemble the exhaust THEN install. Bad move. Took it apart and then installed piece by piece from the Cat back. (Went to a competitor's web site to get their install instructions for their catback, then it went quite easy.) Not complicated. Still, one page of instructions/install tips would be great.

Adding 3" dp + test pipe to the GRIP catback.

Just wanted to know if adding the 3" dp & test pipe to the GRIP catback would nullify the signature subie rumble? I really want the full exhaust but if it doesn't rumble like a subie should, I'll just stick with the catback alone for my STi.
